New Channel Development Manager

Explore, analyze and propose new channel.
Experience in Business Development.
Experience in retail or FMCG is preferred.
Key Responsibility.
Researches market to bring value products based on the end to end product knowledge (Commercial).
Provide the analysis of required information for assigned categories to achieve the category improvement target.
Explore, analyze and propose new channel and approach for existing and future business that meet or exceed predetermined gross margin target.
Understand Traditional trade channel, route to market and current shoptype in the market and be able to propose different strategy and action plan in different shoptypes.
Turning customers insight into action and be able to propose customer program implemented with the different customer tier.
Communicate and closely interact with cross functional with proposed product range by channel and must-list SKUs by shoptype to deliver sales turnover with optimum profit.
Interacts with Commercial, Marketing, and Trade Plan to distribute product technical details and assure the accuracy, legality, and integrity of all product performance claims.
Develop methodology open-cost models in collaboration with supplier accordingly to achieve better cost of goods sold.
Use analytical skills and modelling with category managers insight and requirement to provide category action plan and solution to category managers.
Monitoring specific action plan to gauge the project status, troubleshooting until the result deliver and sustain.
Seeking opportunities, initiate and conduct E2E development to improve business.
Follow our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
Know about other support functions and how to work best as a team - New channel Project team, Store Operation, Supply Chain/ SRD/ Support Office/ Commercial in formats / Salesforces.
Other assignment as it seems appropriate.
Qualifications.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply chain, Economics, Finance or related field.
Minimum 5 years working experience in Project planning, Project Management, Business Development preferably commercial or retailing background.
Report preparation, Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
Well-organized and pro-active with great attention to details and adaptable to the fast-pace of retail business dynamics.
Successful project management skills and knowledge of the product categories, product cycle and product development timelines.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work on tight deadlines.
Computer literacy e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint with good numerical skills.
Appreciation and understanding of behaviour, Product range & activity in each channel.
Communication Skill.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
