- Responsibilities:Ensure the retail online and offline shop is always presented and merchandised to the highest standards whilst maintaining focus on the most profitable items and ensuring delivery of the retail KPIs
- To understand daily, weekly and monthly store targets, clearly identifying what this means in terms of sales, profitability, costs, staffing levels and ensuring this information is communicated effectively to the team
- Focus on increasing Sales, ATV and conversion to drive margin and profit and achieve targets.
- Understanding the impact that visual merchandising and balance of price points has on the customer conversion, average spend and gross profit margin results
- Ensure all staff are kept up to date on changes to products, offers and promotions. Analyze Sales Reports and Strategies
- To analyze daily sales reports to note which items are selling well and which are not, in addition to discerning profit margins for each item. Design marketing and sales strategies and present them to upper management. This includes designing and setting up in-store sales displays. Manage Inventory
- Lead the weekly sales & merchandising meetings with analysis of LY’s KPIs and proposal of next week’s action plans, and follow up with the London store management teams to ensure complete execution
- Responsible for maintaining inventory areas and ordering new items as needed. This includes creating regular inventory reports and writing purchase plans for upcoming seasons to make suggestions about items that should be stocked in stores General Brand Marketing
- Leads and supports in creating innovative and effective 360-degree marketing strategies to drive our brand presence, foot traffic and conversion in each country
- Acts as project coordinator for product and marketing theme launches and any other important LND marketing activities assigned by the Brand GM
- Plans the yearly online/offline marketing and social media calendars and budgets
- Ensures that all products, display materials and relevant information reach the store team on a timely and efficient manner, resulting in excellent implementation of the retail calendar
- Research & analyses the local market environment and defines local marketing plans and activities
- Connect and work closely with landlords, media & press, KOLs & celebrities for product loans and other PR opportunities
- Writes creative briefs and manages timelines, outcome of deliverables and keeps all channel leads informed of changes and/or delays
- Presents strategies, campaigns and analysis at internal meetings, external retailer meetings and to senior leadership teams
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Develops social media strategy for both offline and online channels
- Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences in each country
- Coordinates social media messaging with HQ brand Centre, local agencies and Retail
- Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising budgets and ROIs
- Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement
- Works with HQ brand Centre and Retail to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
- Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
