About The Job
Responsible for managing and developing sales of Alfa Laval Heat Exchanger products and services in our Food & Water division in South East Asia region by developing business channels (including wholesalers, distributors, agents, integrators, system builders & service partners).
Key tasks:
- Formulate, implement and update the sales plan for assigned products, services and channels.- Prepare quotations and do quote follow up in alignment with Inside Sales or P&A.- Update and implement business channels agreements for appointed wholesalers and distributors, together with his/ her manager.- Visit channel Partners, key end customers and train channels and make sure they have the right and relevant tools to achieve sales targets.- Analyze and understand market insights, the buying behavior and the function of Channel Partners and ways to the markets to support the channel to grow the sales.- Balances types of channel Partners for best efficient use of resource and to Expanding Coverage of Channel network.- Is consultant for distributor regarding expanding their presence and making their operation efficient.- Provides oversight to the collection and reporting of channel management statistics, ensures efficient processes are in place to be easy to do business with.- Identify key factors to grow the sales at each channel and to motive the channel to prioritize Alfa Laval product sales.
Who you know?:
- Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience, in equipment and components, preferably in the light manufacturing and machinery OEM industries with a demonstrated track record of over-achievement.- Bachelor degree in Engineering is a big plus.- Proven ability to develop and initiate strategies for revenue and client count growth as well as expense control- Strong commercial thinking with good market knowledge.- Strong sales oriented personality with good communication and networking skills.- Has worked in company with international setting, and has worked with a matrix organisation- Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.- Superior relationship-building skills. Ability to effectively manage difficult or sensitive situations.- Courteous in a professional manner.- Able to interpret and analyze numerical data and information.- Managing potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through adherence to channel rules of engagement.- Good Commands in English and Thai
