**Job Description Summary**: The Sales Account Specialist / Lead Sales Specialist is a customer-facing role primarily responsible for winning business. The position involves collaborating closely with product specialists and marketing teams to identify and develop sales opportunities, thereby expanding the sales funnel and revenue. The key objective is to meet or exceed sales and revenue quotas by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. The role requires proactive engagement with clients and effective coordination with internal teams to drive successful sales outcomes.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Partner with our product specialist & other supporting teams to build relationships within accounts, assist in developing a business strategy to maximize opportunities for all products.
- Achieve sales order and funnel growth volumes within assigned accounts/ territory.
- Qualify opportunities into the funnel and drive customer contact penetration in assigned accounts.
- Improve customer satisfaction by developing strong relationships with customers.
- Align to business priorities and perform to customer contact related metrics.
- Track customer contact results and outcomes and opportunities through CRM tool and applicable tools and trackers
- Rigorous follow up and teaming with field team on deal and customer engagement strategies.
- Develop a strong understanding of the GE Healthcare product portfolio to offer creative solutions to customers
- Conduct timely follow up with internal teams with adherence to all quality and compliance-based expectations and process requirements
- Drive focused sales and marketing campaigns and follow up on opportunities for coverage and customer contact improvement
- Maintain and grow understanding of market dynamics to drive creative solutions with customers
- Perform other sales focused tasks as needed to drive sales growth
**Qualifications/Requirement**:
- Bachelor's degree in science or medical science, with a preference for a background in medical radiology.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales-related experience in the Healthcare Industry, with a preference for imaging
- Previous experience in high-end capital equipment sales within the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
- Ability to establish and cultivate relationships at all levels within an organization.
- Strong selling skills, including delivering effective customer presentations, providing accurate price quotes, and successfully closing deals while expanding sales territories.
- Proven track record in building executive (C-suite) relationships within hospital and healthcare environments.
- Experience in collaborating with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based sales process.

- Basic understanding of technical/medical equipment and services, preferred knowledge in applicable specific GE Healthcare care areas desired
