Department Operations- LevelExperienced (Team Lead)- LocationThailand - BangkokThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

**About the Team**:

- This role drives vendor management within e-commerce logistics, and blends the strategic oversight and leadership required for vendor management within a logistics context, as well as the technical expertise and operational acumen necessary to drive efficiency and excellence in vendor partnerships.- Lead the Vendor Management team with a focus on optimizing vendor relationships and performance across all logistics operations.
- Take ownership of vendor accountability, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and service level agreements.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness for Shopee.
- Bring strategic insights into market dynamics, leveraging market trends and competitor analysis to drive vendor management strategies.
- Proactively identify opportunities and develop pathways for Shopee to achieve market leadership in the e-commerce logistics sector.
- Work closely with all sub-divisions of Operations Teams for all operations related to Logistics

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in vendor management within logistics operations, preferably in e-commerce or retail sectors.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools to assess vendor performance and identify improvement opportunities. (SQL skill is preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
- Proven ability to lead a team, drive initiatives, and manage projects aimed at optimizing vendor relationships and logistics performance.
