Senior Sales Development Manager

We are looking for a highly experienced **Senior Sales Development Manager** to drive Danfoss market share development in our **Industrial Refrigeration (IRF)** business in the **Asia Pacific Region**. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management across countries. As a team player, the incumbent should continuously harness full transparency and drive active decisions on how to position Danfoss in the IRF business based on pipeline & key account management.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Sales management and business development of Industrial Refrigeration businesses in Asia Pacific.
- Deliver on key financial objectives of Industrial Refrigeration, develop sales and grow market share in Industrial Refrigeration business; develop & implement mid-to-long term growth strategies; liaise across verticals, sales channels & market segments.
- Responsible for aggressive sales development of new and existing sales; maintaining and cultivating customer relationships with emphasis on key decision makers and influencers.
- Harvest synergy opportunities with other channels & verticals in Climate Solutions.
- Prioritize and organize needed training with Applications and Technical Support.
- Work with management to define and manage development activities with the Account Managers, global stakeholders with a focus on aggressive growth agenda.
- Support and act as a role model in utilization and implementation of Sales pipeline, account plans, lead generation.
- Ensure key interactions with the business units, line of business, product management, and strategic marketing to secure alignment with market needs.
- Develop in depth customer understanding identifying areas Danfoss can bring greatest value within the Vertical product portfolios.
- Oversee development of Key Account Plans with an aggressive growth horizon based upon customer business needs and customer focused value propositions.
**Background & Skills**:
- 8+ years’ technical and sales management experience working in the **Industrial Refrigeration **industry, close cooperation with contractors, OEMs, End Users and distribution channels.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and developing sales team in a B2B environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, master’s degree a plus.
- Superior business acumen and strategy deployment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong personal resilience, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive.
- Ability to translate customers’ needs into compelling product and/or service propositions.
- Effective communication and networking skills - both internal (across all relevant functions) and external (customers)
- Self-motivated, service-oriented individual having a customer centric mindset.
- Ambitious and has a strong drive to succeed. Self-motivated team player who WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
