In Thailand we are searching for a people and business leader to take on the role as Country Lead and accelerate our growth and market footprint within the Ostomy Care market segment.
The position
As the Country Lead for Thailand, you will be responsible for the development and execution of an ambitious growth agenda for our ostomy care business. You will lead a team of three skilled professionals within Customer Care and marketing and you will oversee the management of our distributor and their dedicated Coloplast sales force of 5-6 people. You will be responsible for driving a strong clinical and commercial agenda towards key stakeholders and decision makers in the market, including HCPs, procurement departments and healthcare authorities.
Our office and distributor are in Bangkok. Working location is flexible (within Thailand) as most of the team is field based, but you will be required to be present F2F with your team regularly. You will report to the Cluster Manager for Southeast Asia who is based in our HQ in Denmark.
Has a strong business acumen and always takes a customer centric approach, being an expert of Coloplast’ business and the market dynamics of the region and needs to be strong analytically.
Has extraordinary skills to coach and develop our team, you are a visionary who can set the direction, and you are an enabler who gets things done.
Has solid experience managing and executing on business plans, as well as a strong track record delivering above-market growth and balancing short versus long term priorities by focusing on key priorities and the big bets that will ensure our long-term success.
Leadership and personal characteristics
Experienced leader with strong leadership skills and ability to role-model Coloplast’s Leadership Promise - setting direction and high ambitions yet involving and ensuring shared accountability developing strong business plans and executing on them
Exceptionally strong business acumen, analytical skills and in-depth experience of the medical device or pharma business, entrepreneurial and strong strategic thinking yet execution focused
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills effectively engaging with users and customers, KOL’s, government stakeholders, team-members, and colleagues across the Coloplast organisation
Unimpeachable ethical standards and a strong commitment to the Coloplast Business Ethics program
**More about you**:
+5 years of leadership experience including management of sales and/or marketing teams in the medical industry, having P& L responsibility, engaging with external stakeholders and KOLs
Commercially astute - strategic acumen coupled with hands on operational experience and strong performance management tool-box
Track record developing strong teams and talented individuals
Experience working for a MNC within the life sciences industry
You are curious by heart, see opportunities and get energy from evolving your team and business
Track record delivering above-market growth and experience from working and leading sales development within the region
You are a strong communicator, who can convey complex or technical information in a simple manner. You are fluent in English and Thai.
