Farm Equipment Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Farm Equipment Business Development Manager to join our Potentia HR Consulting team in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and sales expansion in the ASEAN market.
As a Territory Sales Manager, your primary objective will be to actively manage and grow business (Sales, Share) in assigned provinces of Thailand. This involves working closely with channel partners and internal stakeholders to formulate Annual Business Plans based on market & competitive intelligence.
You will achieve sales volume (shipment and retail), revenue, and market share targets through effective collaboration with internal (logistics team) and external (dealer) stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting, demo, closure, and other sales activities with Dealer, external agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining market intelligence and competition activity (pricing, new launches, feature upgrades/downgrades)
- Rolling out Sales processes, standards, and systems at Dealers
- Driving Sales Satisfaction (SSI) scores by coordinating with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Support)
To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge of the Thailand farm equipment business, including Thai culture and preferences. You should also possess strong commercial, business acumen, account management, tactical marketing, and B2B sales skills. A strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) is essential, with abilities in culturally agnostic communication, good listening, negotiating, and collaborative work.
The ideal candidate will have around 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development in Thailand within the Farm equipment industry. A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Agriculture Engineering, along with a Master's in Marketing or International Business, is preferred.
Average salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits may include bonuses, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
