Key Account Manager

**Position Purpose**:
To grow revenue and profit in key customers, these accounts make up the highest percentage of company income, and the Key Account Manager is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the client i.e. Central, The Mall and etc. He/she will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for client are met, and help the client to succeed.
The Key Account Manager is the point of contact for the customers and handles the distribution of the brand within assigned stores. Responsible for ensuring visibility, achievement of sales targets and delivery of high-quality customer service to the existent and potential clients. He/she is also responsible for collection of receivables and is the key source of information for movement of goods/brand and is responsible to bring back market feedback.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
**Key Account Management**:
- Know at all times level of sales vs LY vs Target of the Brand
- Manage and grow Retail Team to achieve brand’s objectives.
- Initiate proposals, suggestions to Marketing Team on all trade marketing and consumer mechanics related matters.
- Plan and execute consumer activations at store level to achieve brand’s objectives
- Ensure inventory supply sufficiency for both selling and non-selling items, as well as maintaining healthy stock coverage.
**Retail Operations**:
- Check and know brand(s) daily sales per counter with other brands/ competitors.
- Check and ensure availability of physical stocks level/ samples/testers and place orders.
- Check and know physical quantity of stock at counter vs quantity in POS system
- To respond to promoters’ queries and to assist them whenever possible in their dealings with respective floor managers/supervisors.
- Create and maintain good rapport/relationship with store managers and understand the store’s operation process.
**Promoter / Beauty Consultant Management**:
- Must give sales/motivational briefings to FCs and part-timers. For new launches, arrange in-house training with Marketing/Trainer.
- Guide promoters and ensure cleanliness of counters and ensure them perform housekeeping.
- Ensure correct standard of merchandising at respective counters accordingly.
- Ensure proper pictures are taken and updated and uploaded into generic folder.
- Appearance and attire of promoters
- Work together with Counter Leaders, Group Leaders and BC Manager to ensure timetable of all BCs at each store is fair
- Ensure Luxasia BCs upkeep stores’ policies.
**Promotions**:
- Ensure the stocks of selling and non-selling items are available 5 days before promo and incentives/part-timers plans are done 14 days before any promotions.
- Ensure that all stock allocations are prepared and available on the floor on time for normal use and sales periods, as per schedule.
- Observe, update and analyze competitors activities (new launches and promotions)
Plan
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management.
- Strategic planning to improve client results.
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
- Develop overall business development strategies and plan
Operational
- Manage total key accounts to ensure all objectives and target achievement.
- Responsible for building and managing P&L for assigned accounts.
- Negotiate, control and manage trading terms and assigned budgets to reach the most effective conditions.
- Control and manage customized product
- Take lead in coordinating with internal business support from all related functions in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations to support the business growth plan.
- Accomplish all required reports/feedback to Line Manager on a regular basis in order to update and/or elevate issues to higher management.
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
- Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
- Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs me
- Collaborating with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
**Others**:
- Prepare commentary of respective Brands’ Performance, by comparing with target and last year’s actual.
