Senior Manager, Head of Operator Sales

Position Summary
1. Maximize revenue and profit by setting sales strategies and plans that focuses on the assigned region/market based on the sales strategies.
2. Build the foundation for maximizing sales revenue and profit by providing continued support through communication with the assigned region/market.
Role and Responsibilities
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead development of strategic business plan and ensure excellent execution of TSE business strategy with strategic operator customer in collaborating with marketing, product ATL, BTL, SCM, B2B, Retail, Finance, local, RHQ, HQ counterpart and other support teams to achieve the assigned sales revenue, market share, profit target in a financial year in line with the organization's business objectives of selling a mix of solutions/ portfolio and other TSE business objectives
- Lead business assessment of current business, consumer insights, industry trend, Telco technology and regulatory trend, market intelligent that will support growth of Samsung products and services, then recommend business strategy and action plan to TSE executives as well as lead strategic customer relationship management via monthly business review, Top to Top meeting, customer C-Level relationship, cross functional working team, and customer business relationship at all levels.
- Develop strategic partnerships, understand the customer’s business direction/strategy/objective, in order to convert the Operator Services offering into customer’s business benefits with the aim to increase mutual business interest and revenue of Samsung products and ecosystem
- Lead strategic business collaboration between TSE and operator customer, annual and quarterly joint business planning objective and action plan which should in line with customer’s regional/global business objective, including co-marketing plan, ATL, BTL, co-CDM, DMP financial affordability platform, sell-out platforms, customer life cycle management, customer journey at off-line/on-line, to leverage synergy of Samsung devices sales and operator services revenue
- Identify, optimize and continuously improve route to market to ensure product available and presence to target customers in assigned operator customer account
- Strategically manage TSE and operator portfolio mapping in assigned account including, develop sell-out plan as well as achieve SCM, WOS and other KPIs target internally and externally
- Lead cross functional collaboration and effectively communicate with retail management team of TSE and operator to ensure execution excellence of agreed sales and marketing program at retail shops in operator customer
- Leverage local, regional, global business network, business platform, best practices, portfolios, sell out platform and service platforms to strengthen business proposition of Samsung with strategic customers
- Analyse sales statistics gathered to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
- Ensure TSE always secure business competitiveness, retail fundamentals, product ranging, visibility leadership, SCM, promotion, FSM engagement etc. to improve product performance versus targets at the assign operator customer, evaluate the impact of strategic and tactical initiatives, and takes corrective action, as needed, to achieve/exceed business goals.
- Manage and develop team under supervision.
Dealing and interaction with Internal and External Parties
Internal Party: Top Management, HQ/RHQ, Mobile Business cross function teams, Online Business, Corporate Marketing
External Party: Interact with senior customers including CEO, CMO, Head of Device Business (main contact point) and other mid-senior client stakeholders. Interact with outside agencies as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of 12-15 years overall modern retail sales management experience preferably proven experience in Telco & Operator, FMCGs, consumer products or other related customer driven organizations
- 5 Years working experience in management level (managing the team)
- Demonstrated ability to set clear expectations and communicate effectively
- Proven track record of success in sales environment, strong planning and organizational skills
- Solid experience to manage sales team
- Result oriented, self-driven, a clear focus on high quality and business and strong negotiation
- High Customer orientation: recognition and credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative and productive.
- Understands what it takes to win in the market place.
- Strong analytical, financial, problem solving, planning and business skills
- High Financial Aptitude: possesses strong business acumen and numbers-driven
- Detail-oriented: holds others accountable for commitments.
