Strategy and Planning
1. Develops a business plan for the practice under direction of CB Head.
2. Works to expand and grow business in accord with strategic plan. This may include the following: identifying potential of new distribution channels; opening new branches, new distribution channels; dealing with business partner.
3. Plans, implements, and monitors a business development strategy for branch employees to meet business development goals.
4. Works with the Product and Marketing team to develop a marketing plan designed to achieve practice goals set forth in the business plan.
5. Manage multi-region opportunities by building and managing specific sales teams, and provide support to facilitate opportunity conversion.
Performance Management
6. Manages the sale of Bank products and services in Consumer Banking. Determines sales goals, and provides direction and guidance to the Zone Head in the achievement of those goals.
7. Maximize resources and best communicate with staff with the specific objectives of enhanced sales efficiency and positive client experience.
8. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales opportunities, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
9. Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach and develop the Sales and Service performance.
10. Review and make recommendations to the District sales manager to modify sales plan that maximize business efficiencies for all branches within territory.
11. Develop and execute a detailed action plan to increase and improve sales results of Branch Network and Alternative sales channels based on sales analytics and best practices.
12. Ensure that the salespeople are motivated to perform the selling function in a way that will help the organization attain its goals.
13. Maximize branch P&L and control the expenses within budget.
Control and Compliance
14. Ensure the effective controls and processes frameworks are in place to enable: Compliance with Bank policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, Effective operational risk and rigour management, Business resumption and contingency planning, including critical incident reporting and effective implementation of the BCM, Drive controls and fraud awareness through a robust plan across the entire network.
15. Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity at all times.
16. Ensure that issues from Audit, Compliance & Control Reviewer, internal and external auditors are properly closed and corrective actions are made timely and correctly.
Customer Relationship Development and Management
17. Ensure that clients are engage with the bank products and services and are satisfied every step of the way.
People Management/ Development
18. Work with Deputy Branch Network and Zone head to create and maintain Sales culture, focused on delivering results by providing ongoing coaching and development of branch staff.
19. Develop an in-depth knowledge of financial products via training programs, and utilize this knowledge to enhance the staff capability.
20. Lead, manage and engage talent in order to build high performer. Design and develop the training road map and Talent Development schemes and ensures it works for the organization’s present and future needs.
