Position Summary
To initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the Department’s products sold and assigned by the Company, with special emphasis on growing the business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Promote the company’s products and maintain service standards to the assigned industries and customers as agreed upon.
- Continually improve the relationship with our AB customers and project accounts by providing technical and commercial support and innovative solutions.
- Develop new customer and business, identify new potential product line, coordinate or provide technical support including sample for testing, do follow up work from sample to commercialization, price negotiation, inform and coordinate with sales manager, suppliers, in case of problems.
- Perform market survey when necessary or upon request by Sales manager, proactively investigate & regularly update market intelligence relating to assigned product and business area and keep sales/department manager informed.
- Establish and implement sales and marketing strategy under guidance of sales/department manager in order of achieve given sales and operating income budget.
- Project necessary inventory level for each product/business situation by utilizing “MRP”, regularly update rolling sales forecast “ROFO” wherever applicable to ensure efficiency, reliability and optimized inventory level.
- Co-ordinate & prepare supplier visits, seminars and customer appointments by providing customer background and business activity details. Highlight and prepare important issues and participate in supplier visit and business discussion. Liaise with customers and suppliers on follow up action.
- Prepare annual sales & profit forecast, provide projection to Sales manager.
- Prepare and provide call/meeting and monthly sales activity reports including related market intelligence to supplier (where agreed upon) and Department Manager prior to given deadline. Maintain & continually update company CRM.
- Co-ordinate with and assist finance/commercial department in case of account receivable and payable problems. Monitor and inform immediately potential uncollectible debts to sales/department manager and finance/commercial department for appropriate further action.
- Co-ordinate with customer service, Logistic and related parties to ensure smooth and continuous improvement of order process, delivery services to meet and surpass customer expectation.
- To learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job.
- Other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Required qualifications
- A university graduate in a Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- Min. 2-3 years' Experience in sales & marketing preferably in paint & coating industry will be an advantage.
- Good command of English and computer literacy.
- Strong sales acumen and self-motivation.
- Own transportation and able to go upcountry.
