**Business Development Executive/ Manager**

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, Business Development Executive/Manager for our Thailand office.

As a Business Development Executive/Manager with CIO Network, you will be selling events and digital sponsorships. You need to love to meet people, have an excellent telephone manner, be confident speaking to C-level executives and be a target-driven

individual. No previous experience is necessarily, but sales experience would be advantageous.

CIO Network will offer training and a great benefits package. In return, we

need people who can grasp varying IT topics and hold their own when discussing different challenges that government is facing.

You need to be a confident communicator and hungry to earn lots of commission (it’s uncapped)

**Responsibilities**
- Sell events sponsorship and OpenGov digital platform across Asia and internationally
- Targeting decision makers and explain the benefits of sponsoring the events and the digital platform
- Research and identify opportunities and qualified leads for each conference and the digital platform
- Create bespoke packages to fit client requirements (if required)
- Researching and understanding the market
- Document, track and monitor sales pipeline with new leads and provide accurate weekly forecasts
- Hit pre-agreed event sales targets
- Maintain and nurture new and existing client relationships
- Must be self-motivated and have a proactive attitude

**Who We’re Looking For**:
A minimum of two years B2B sales experience both on telephone and face-to-face is required, but does not have to be from within conference and exhibition business.

**Other Important skills**:

- Experience of working in a compatible role
- Diploma or Degree educated
- Fluency in English plus strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple on-going relationships
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A desire to beat the targets that are set for you
- Show no fear in speaking with C-Level executives over the phone and meeting them
- Transparency - honesty and accuracy are the foundations upon which sales success

is built
- Willingness to learn from your line manager and key team members who will guide and

train you in the essential skills set required to excel in your job
- Ownership. You own the work you do and are equally responsible for the successful

delivery of it
