Business Development Manager

A Business Development Manager is responsible for building our company’s business pipeline. Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building, and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing business reach and potential.
**Job Functions**:
- Work out regional business development plan and strategy in consistency with company level's PO and business strategy, budget and control cost, products’ nature and advantage, production capacity, and R&D capability, with a target of over-achievement.
- Estimate business development outlook via regular regional tracking and review, to provide accurate demand forecast to manufacturing for production planning.
- Maintain disciplinary weekly telephone communication with regional teams to ensure the knowledge of products and technology’s most up-to-date news and real-time alignment on the marketing and business development strategy in each region.
- Plan, direct, and monitor the regional business development activities including cold calling to qualifying new leads, pitching to qualified new customers, fostering the relationship of old customers, and influencing other value chain influencers, etc. to ensure they are in line with the short and mid-term sales target within the limit of budget.
- Deploy and prioritize resources including budget and manpower allocation, to satisfy regional selling activities’ effectiveness and efficiency
**Job Requirement**:
- Degree in Engineering / Business
- 6 years of working experience, with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in assessing and allocating financial costs related to technical/engineering projects.
- Strong communication ability, networking skill, interpersonal skills and negotiation ability.
- Strong business acumen.
