**Objectives**:
To provide vision and leadership to field sales team to achieve vaccines business objectives and establish Takeda as the trusted partner among healthcare professionals. This will be enabled by inspirational leadership and motivational coaching of field sales team which will develop the team’s scientific knowledge, operational and business performance as well as lifting their skill capabilities. Be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team, monitor and feedback direct report's performance, optimize resources and control budgeting.
**Accountabilities**:
1. To directs the development of sales plans, strategies, objectives and procedures in the regional territory
2. To be accountable for effective leadership, management, coaching and counselling of the Sales team and be responsible for training needs analysis and personal development of direct reports and for the formulation of the training and development plans for sales roles overall
3. To provide guidance, feedback and direction for District Sales Managers in the areas of coaching and development of Medical Representatives, customer relationships, prioritization of activities for ensuring performance expectations are met and talent development for the future
4. To work closely with Sales Force Effectiveness, Sales Training, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and other internal departments in order to secure resources and support for key sales initiatives.
5. To establish individual performance objectives for District Sales Managers; responsible for performance management process and feedback on performance to all direct reports.
6. To determine market boundaries for all District Sales Managers in order to provide optimal coverage of customer base.
7.To select, coach, and develop qualified personnel for the District Sales Manager positions in order to ensure capability for future staffing
8. To attend key regional and industry seminars to establish personal contact and relationships with key physicians, thought leaders and executives from managed care organizations; to stay abreast of changing trends in the pharmaceutical industry and zone marketplace.
9. To establish and administrate budgets; approve travel expenses and promotional disbursement requests to ensure that department expenses are within guidelines.
**Qualifications **/ **Experiences**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field and MBA is a plus
- At least 10 years pharmaceutical industry commercial experience and minimum 5 years in District Sales Manager experience, Vaccines experience will be advantage
- Proven track records of achieving business results
- Good Command in written and spoken English
- Inspirational Leadership, Strategic & Analytical Thinking and Good communication skill
- Effective poeple development, problem-sovling and decision making including coaching, negotiation and influecing skil
- Digital and computer literacy (MS office as standard requirements)
- Ability to travel within country and Asia Pacific region, with occasional travel to other international locations
