National Sales Manager

Our client is a leader in global forwarding with a strong presence in the Middle East, Africa, and emerging markets. They have teams around the globe that provide logistics services to their customers with international deliveries above and beyond. They offer ocean freight, air freight, road freight, third-party logistics (3PL), and value-added service. This company is expanding in Thailand and supports employees to grow in their careers.
The client is seeking a highly motivated and organized National Sales Manager to join and build the team in Thailand.
**Responsibilities**
- Taking responsibility for supervising a company’s large-scale sales operations and teams.
- Managing multiple sales managers or teams and setting targets to measure firm performance.
- Building lasting relationships with key clients, providing long-term profitability for the company.
- Designing and implementing effective sales strategies for the firm.
- Generating sales weekly /monthly/quarterly reports and forecasts.
- Monitoring sales performance.
- Analyzing market trends and behaviors.
- Leading sales teams nationwide to achieve sales targets.
- Maintaining healthy working relationships with clients.
- Negotiating and close agreements with large customers
- Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Performing research and identifying new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Providing timely and effective solutions aligned with client's needs
- Liaising with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Staying up to date with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in freight forwarding sales management positions
- Proven work experience as a National sales manager.
- Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills, strong critical and analytical thinking abilities.
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office and other sales management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Works well under pressure.
- Working knowledge of market trends and behaviors.
