Execute AZD1222 (COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca) pandemic objectives and define post pandemic long term Infectious Disease business unit expansion and business model
- Develop overall vaccine brand strategy, brand positioning, brand execution and market entry
- Lead supply delivery planning, execution, communication and alignment across external stakeholders and internal cross-functional partners (local & above country)
- Lead and be accountable for the internal Cross Functional Team (Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Supply & Operations, Communication and Market Access & Government Affairs) and external agencies
- Lead and be accountable for the connection with our CMO partner in Thailand; be an expert in the manufacturing and supply process related to AZD1222; and provide support and timely feedback to global & regional teams
- Dedicated project management of AZD1222, and report on a regular basis to our government stakeholders (NVI, DDC and the wider MOPH departments)
- Lead the COVID-19 Public Health Campaign with our partners in public and private channels; understand the needs of the external environment while managing both message creation and tactical execution of the campaign
- Responsible for the development of the Infectious Disease Therapeutic Area (TA), including but not limited near-term and future pipeline assets such as AZD2816, AZD7442 (COVID-19 Long Acting Antibody), Synagis and future RSV pipeline; lead other business development potential in Thailand, and explore market specific licence opportunities

Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with all AZ Governance Framework and External Market Compliance Frameworks e.g. PREMA, Thai FDA
- Delivery of the annual strategy, P&L, supply schedule and product approvals
- Lead complex & senior stakeholder management, including communication of scientific, supply, and public relations
- Management of internal stakeholder to ensure trusted supply across the region
- Trusted partner and effective project management with government partners to support the COVID-19 vaccination programme
- Delivery of an effective Public Health Campaign measured by public perception, confidence and recognition of AstraZeneca as a trusted partner in Health Care delivery
- Effective cross functional team management
- Manage budget within +/- 3%

Qualification
- Degrees in Science, Bio Science or Pharmaceutical
- Significant pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record
- Equally strong in strategic thinking and operational leadership; sales / marketing experience with a successful track record
- Strong analytical capability together with rigorous commercial business sense
- Proven cross functional management and leadership
- Management of senior internal and external stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset, looks beyond uncertainties
