**Main duties**

The Deputy GM’s primary mission is to second the GM in the roll out of the strategy for Geotechnical Product Line by taking ownership of the products related to FRP reinforcement (i.e. GFRP & CFRP rebars). His/her objective is to promote growth throughout the group, supporting developing and well-established markets while exploring opportunities with complementary products, markets, and customers. The Deputy GM’s and his/her team work hand in hand with the sales teams within and outside the network to maximize the profitability and yield of his/her line of products.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Scope of products**:
Within the Geotec product-line, the Deputy GM oversees the range of non-metallic products used in reinforced concrete, namely:

- ASTEC Permanent CFRP profiles for repair & strengthening.
- Durabar Permanent GFRP rebars.
- NuLumber - GFRP Edge Form.
- Roll-out carpet of GFRP rebars.
- Bendable GFRP rebars (thermoplastic resin).

And any new product that fits into this environment of non-metallic concrete reinforcement.

**Control the product range**:
The Deputy GM is controlling the product-range in close collaboration with the teams of the China factory (DBPG) who are leader on FRP products, and ensuring implementation in satellite factories in India & KSA:

- Initiate and validate commercial documents: Brochures, datasheets, generic PowerPoints. Review them periodically. Verify clarity and up-to-datedness of SharePoint filing.
- Specify product performance levels and requirements.
- Monitor relevance and suitability of our scope of certifications and qualification test reports.
- Look for ideas for new products.
- Monitor, and push the study and implementation of Product Development Requests (PDR) Engineering Change Requests (ECR).

**Drive our commercial activity**:

- Train, guide and manage local product-line champions.
- Create training presentations and videos, FAQ memos, etc.
- Align local sales strategy and actions with GMs, including pricing strategy and projects P&L.
- Review Technical Submission Files (TSF).
- Review projects specifications and control our products compliance.
- Review sales contracts, communicate our contractual obligations to concerned people and control our compliance.
- Ensure communication of our QA documents to our customers.
- Challenge sales forecasts.
- Monitor and feed CRM project list.
- Maintain a 5-years business plan.
- Propose stock policy.
- Support GMs in case of claims & litigations actions.

**Control and coordinate operations**

**Marketing & Promotion**:

- Search and select new sales channels.
- Lead prescription and specification strategy.
- Lead market surveys.
- Identify and select conferences & exhibitions to be attended.
- Develop contacts with key structural design firms.
- Follow up industry trends.
- Participate to professional organizations and standardization institutes in the GPL field.
- Initiate communication tools: YouTube clips, case studies, advertisements, magazine articles, memos, linked-in campaigns, etc.
- Push salespeople to provide information for project reference cards.
- Monitor competitors’ activity.
- More generally conduct all long-term actions.

**Technical expertise**:

- Know all product codes and standards related to his product line for all territories.
- Answer customers’ queries.
- Initiate construction methods trials in our workshop.
- Propose, support and coordinate participation in academic research.

**Qualification**:

- Master's Degree in in Business Administration or Engineering Degree with MBA.
- At least 2 years' experience in sales of technical products
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Good computer literacy (MS Office)
- Experience of CRM software is a plus
- Curious, adaptive yet focused on the objective and direction ahead.
- Customer focused, team player, and results oriented.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
