**Typical Accountabilities**:
**Business Intelligence**
- Gathers customer and competitor data through primary and secondary research
- Define the range of problems facing the brand team; plan, prioritize and oversee research and analysis, and communicate insight & recommendations for high quality, evidence-driven marketing and sales related decisions

**Customer Relationship Management (CRM)**
- Defines customer segmentation and targeting, and regularly reviews to ensure alignment with business strategy
- Plays role of country VEEVA lead

**Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE)**
- Develops, manages, and implements organization structures and business processes and controls that maximize effectiveness of function and have a positive impact on sales force productivity
- Responsibilities include incentives/quotas, targeting/alignments, meetings/conventions, sample administration, etc
- Understands, and implements global sales training modules for marketing and field force at all levels (e.g. GROW, UNLOC, KAM etc) *
- Understands, and implements global marketing training programs for cross functional teams (CFTs) and marketeers (e.g. One4all training) *
- Plans and executes “Commercial Modelling Project” with area support
- Manage large projects involving significant change for the sales force
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, logistics and support concepts, and the healthcare delivery environment to provide effective and efficient support to the sales effort
- Provides Commercial Leaders with informed counsel regarding pending business decisions, project direction and objectives

**Business Development (BD)**
- Explore and identify new business opportunity (segment, cross/up selling, channel, etc)
- Develop business case for pipeline product
- Lead early phase strategic decisions and coordination for new product launch

**Business Simplification**
- Initiates and leads business simplification initiatives throughout company

**Capability Building and Commercial Operation**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree in relevant field,
- 5+ years of experience, including pharmaceutical sales or sales support
- Ability to manage large projects
- Ability to lead a team - 3+ years people management experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
- Outstanding consulting skills: consistent and proven track record of helping clients address strategic opportunities and solve problems
- Strategic agility: has in-depth knowledge and broad experience in the pharmaceutical and is able to bring this to bear in accomplishing strategic goals and objectives
- Strong leadership skills: can build vision and strategy and lead others in the accomplishment of this
- Strong communication, presentation & facilitation skills
- Proven abilities to work effectively in a complex, matrix environment, across numerous time zones
- Outstanding organizational & project management skills
- Strong influencing & negotiation skills: proven abilities to influence without authority
- Strong customer orientation/focus
- Strong interpersonal & partnering skills: has proven abilities to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional, often virtual and matrix teams
- Fluent written and verbal English
- Advanced Degree (MBA)
- Broad-based commercial experience including marketing and/or sales
