About the Role
As our Commercial Planner, you will be responsible for driving growth and brand equity for our Brands. You will develop and execute strategic plans, analyze market dynamics, and optimize commercial activities to maximize offtake, ROI, and brand impact. By working cross-functionally with stakeholders and making data-driven decisions, you will ensure the On Trade channel contributes significantly to Diageo Moet Hennessy Thailand's success.
- Responsibilities_
- Develop and execute annual On Trade channel and customer promotional calendars.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to establish minimum execution standards for sales drivers (distribution, range, space, etc.)
- Track key executions and performance, optimize ROI.
- Own the On Trade MBR process, identifying and sharing best practices strategies across business units.
- Lead Joined Up Business Planning and customer JBP engagement.
- Collaborate with Consumer Marketing on targeted channel activations and KPIs.
- Effectively manage the On Trade channel budget to achieve growth goals.
Business Dimension
Financial
- Make independent decisions on day-to-day trade marketing activities within established guidelines and budgets.
- Recommend and influence strategic planning, promotional calendars, and resource allocation for the On Trade channel.
- Escalate critical issues and seek appropriate approvals as needed.
Market Complexity
- Deep understanding of the On Trade channel landscape, customer segmentation, and purchase behaviors.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key distributors and on-premises accounts.
People Management
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams in Sales, Consumer Marketing, and Finance.
- Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, preferably within the FMCG or alcohol industry.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build relationships.
- Knowledge of the Thai On Trade channel landscape and key players.
- Brands management experiences or working collaboration.
