Senior Business Development Manager

**About the opportunity**
As part of our international expansion, Guestline is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager, based in Thailand to grow sales and aid in the localization of Guestline in the APAC region.
You’ll be responsible for the full sales life cycle; this is a hands-on role that will include the prospecting & identification, qualification and maximising the positive conversion of new business opportunities leading to the negotiation of business solution sales at all levels in defined territories. This is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant contribution within an established organisation, where consistently strong performance is well rewarded.
**Here’s a taster of what we want you to do**
- Embrace targets and devise your own personal sales strategy to deliver or exceed them
- Creation and delivery of a cohesive sales strategy
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecasting information to the business
- Leverage your existing industry network to accelerate delivery of sales targets
- Be highly proactive and search our opportunities to develop new business
- Meet with our Marketing team to devise plans that benefit and help grow Guestline in the APAC market
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our target customers and groups
- Maintain a strong account management with our current customer base, with regular ‘check-ins’
- Understand and articulate what is great about our solutions to prospects
- Use a consultative sales approach to ensure that solutions are tailored to our customers unique requirements
- Creating bespoke proposals, product presentations, RFPs (Request for Proposal Documents) and ROI statements for interested parties
- Attend trade shows to network and introduce our products to new customers
- Learn and understand product information and how this can be a positive return on investment to prospects
- Increase the profile of Guestline throughout Thailand and the APAC region
**About you**
- You enjoy working in an international environment - you know the challenges of evolving business development strategies in new markets
- You've been there and done it - working in hospitality you understand how the systems are fundamental to the smooth running of daily hotel operations
- You hit your target - Hitting, surpassing and setting new targets is second nature to you. You’re motivated by your sales figures and providing a fantastic service to your clients
- You’re unwaveringly customer-focused - you put a customer lens on all that you do. You have the ability to understand the problems of our target customers and translate them into actionable insights
- You’re Tech
- savvy - whilst you don’t need to be able to code, we like our Guestliners to be tech-savvy enough to understand the nuances and workings of our technologies
- You are bold and prepared to drive change - you use learning techniques, soft skills and lead by example to teach new ways of thinking wherever necessary
- You're well organized - You use efficient processes, can prioritize, and know how to seamlessly perform multiple tasks in a row
- You’re great with people - you understand how to get the best out of people, delivering a message right and influencing across different teams and stakeholders; from Engineers to Sales to c-suite, customers and third parties
- You understand that sales is a process that benefits from constant refinement, and that sales is a skill that requires practice and nurturing. You proactively seek out methods / resources to improve your own sales skills
