**Purpose of the Role**:
**Knowledge of**:

- Source code scanners for standards, violations and best practice such as Sonar, Code Rush and Style cop

Industry Experience in:

- Contribute and collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external through workshops and walkthroughs
- Experience with environment management, test data creation and selection, development of testing artefacts such as test plans, test conditions, test objectives and regression test plans
- Development of automation scripts, regression and productivity tools
- Outcome focused within limitations and constraints of budget and schedule
- Experience working in various SDLC delivery methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, and iterative development
- Validating test effort as related to test execution
- User experience, System performance, Volume testing and Stress testing
- Identification of testing resources in relation to tasks and activities such as tooling, devices and operating systems
- Importance of stakeholder engagement, management, perception and influencing skills
- High Level design (EA diagrams, Database schema), Low level designs (Component, Interface specification) and prototypes
- Configuration management, Release Management and continuous integration and Continuous delivery

Expert in:

- 5+ years' experience in QA role.
- Development of test strategy, approach, environment identification and management
- Development of test summary reports for programs and projects
- Basic project management knowledge relating to schedule, tasks and activities and budget as they may relate to QA
- Industry estimation methods such as historical data based e.g. 3 point estimates, function point estimates, task and activity breakdown estimates
- Identification of Risks and issues across project, program lifecycle in relation to product, project and QA risks
- Determining objectives for QA through reviewing statement of work, project charters and program related documents
- Review methods in relation to requirements - business, solution requirements and their acceptance
- Application of advanced testing techniques such as state transition, decision tables as related to planning and execution
- Logging bugs and following it through with developers, SME's and BAs as required
- RTM coverage analysis, maintenance for business, solution requirements, test cases and bugs
- Experience across System, Systems Integration and User acceptance testing
- Ability to lead Bug triaging, workshops and walkthrough relating to testing activities as and when required
- Frameworks, practices and principles relating to Manual and Automation testing
- Experience in SQL / PLSQL queries, stored procedures, testing of N tier architectures - web-services and GUI's
- Regression test plans and script development and RTM maintenance
- Understanding stakeholder needs and calibrating communication to meet expectations during execution, implementation of both manual and automated tests
- Execution, monitoring of automated testing including regression, test data, system and systems integration tests
- Reviewing testing artefacts and identification of gaps in coverage and efficiency
- Executing in alignment of test objectives at various test levels such as Systems, Systems Integration and User acceptance
