An HRTech software service (B2B SaaS) headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, is rapidly gaining momentum as a prominent startup in its region. The company boasts a global footprint and serves a diverse clientele across more than 130 countries.
The core mission entails providing top-tier AI-powered solutions, catering to the staffing and recruitment transformation needs of businesses of all sizes.
**Role**: As the Lead QA Engineer, you'll take the wheel in ensuring quality is driven into the heart of all development processes throughout, from requirement definitions through to delivery of releases in the production environment. Specifically, with your knowledge of investing methodologies and principles, you'll help identify and address potential risks to the process, employ QA best practices throughout the team, and break large and complex testing/automation problems into smaller, actionable steps forward for the team.
Your efforts will ensure that all developmental and QA processes are significantly streamlined and that every product and service produced is of the utmost quality for our users to enjoy. You will work closely with the engineering team and product team to identify, document, and iron out bugs in the product. We sincerely believe that behind every successful product, there is a careful QA team. Hence, you will have a significant role to play in stable and quality product releases.
**Responsibilities**:
Develop a test plan for existing and upcoming features and products
Perform product testing and communicate results to key stakeholders
Work closely with the development and product teams to ensure smooth and timely releases
Work in collaboration with developers to identify and solve bugs
Set up build automation and other automated testing methods (e.g. load testing, e2e testing, unit testing, integration testing)
Own quality testing before each release
Work closely with our support and customer success team to deploy releases to customers
Own tier 3 tech support to troubleshoot issues in the field and guide technical support teams
Actively contribute to setting up good company quality processes and goals within the company
Grow the QA team by mentoring existing team members and recruiting new members as we scale up
Work with our engineering and product team to develop test plans, validate test fixtures and oversee all quality processes
Diagnose functional issues, report bugs, and take ownership of issue resolution
**Key Requirements**:
Being proactive and able to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and methodology, as well as knowledge of object-oriented design principles
Knowledge of modern best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
Experience in Javascript and Cypress
Experience with test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Robot)
Experience with load testing and knowledge of load testing tools like Jmeter would be a plus
