This is a position for a Development Team Lead to work in the LSEG Risk Technology business, specialising in the Client On-Boarding platform.

The Refinitiv Client On-boarding (COB) solution is an end-to-end client onboarding platform, which helps firms manage their client onboarding and account opening processes, and ongoing maintenance and refresh processes. It addresses the inherent challenges of the onboarding process to ensure proper compliance with internal policies and procedures. COB combines management technologies needed for proper onboarding, including data attributes, document management, rules engines, hierarchy management, and workflow.

Main Responsibilities:

- Managing project/work planning sessions with team members and Product Managers to analyse requirements
- Allocating team development activities including implementing development processes to conform to LSEG standards
- Taking part in code reviews and reviewing the work of colleagues.
- Support dev/ops teams with system maintenance tasks and tools that facilitate unattended upgrading, fall back, patching, etc.
- Develop development plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities, which support overall business strategy

Required skills:

- 2+ years of experience in Leading development team.
- Must have: Strong people leadership skills
- Must have: Senior level of Java 8+ and/or Angular 8+
- Must have: Experience with Web Components, HTML, ECMAScript 5 +, HTTP request
- Must have: Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS), EC2, S3
- Must: have: Senior knowledge of Core Java, Spring
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and experience in Agile Scrum processes
- Well versed with using version control tools (e.g. Gitlab, DX1)
- Knowledge of TDD practices, understanding of code quality measurements and able to implement efficient Unit Tests
- Understanding of SOLID design principles
