**Duties and responsibilities**
- Oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including order processing, routes planning, On-time delivery tracking, and issue resolution, reporting weekly status updates.
- Manage the logistics operations for transportation of product which includes monitoring carrier performance, problem solving, and execution of supply chain processes to ensure on time deliver.
- Lead and manage the logistics team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Partner with USA headquarters on logistics processes improvements including, onboard reliable delivery partners, negotiating favorable terms to ensure on-time and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics, such as on-time deliveries, delivery accuracy, and transportation costs and take proactive actions to address any deviations from targets.
- Monitor and reconcile logistics costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Spearhead new logistics projects to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the growth of freshket
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Provide freight costing to assist sales with prospective customers
- Collaborate with the Tech team to develop cost optimization features and streamline logistics processes using technology solutions during new system intergration.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
- 7-10+ years of related experience with import/export preferably in apparel manufacturing.
- Knowledge of customs, brokers, and foreign carriers and can comfortably communicate regularly with them.
- Deep understanding of transportation management, route planning optimization, and delivery operations, including classifications, rate structures, documents, and service labels required.
- Experience with all forms of transportation (air, rail, ground, sea) & understanding of China import requirements / processes preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Oral, written) to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and delivery partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unforeseen challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient logistics operations.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop others, while leading a team.
- Self starter who can work independently, is a fast learner & able to exercise independent judgement on a regular basis
- Strong English language skills required
