**About the Department**:
The **Retail **function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
**Personal Financial Services**
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.
**Responsibilities**:
- To acquire new merchants by presenting, pitching and proposing to corporate merchants, with the focus on low-risk business categories and high profit
- To maintain merchants sales volume from strategic merchants by maintaining strong relationship with key persons of high-volume merchants
- To support all merchants especially strategic merchants on any issues related to EDC or payment gateway service in order to maintain strong relationship and sales volume
- To encourage existing and new merchants to be active by generating sales volume with UOB
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Management or related fields
- 3-5 years experience in Merchant Acquiring /Merchant Business Development
- High Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of Merchant Acquiring
- Service Mind
- Negotiation Skills
