Chef - Lebanese Food

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Menu Planning**: Designing and creating a menu that features authentic Lebanese dishes, taking into account regional flavors and ingredients.
2. **Food Preparation**: Preparing and cooking Lebanese dishes from scratch, including items like falafel, tabbouleh, hummus, kebabs, shawarma, and other traditional Lebanese recipes.
3. **Ingredient Sourcing**: Sourcing and selecting the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, including spices, meats, vegetables, and herbs, to maintain the authenticity and taste of Lebanese cuisine.
4. **Kitchen Management**: Overseeing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring the kitchen meets health and safety standards.
5. **Recipe Development**: Experimenting with and creating new Lebanese recipes while maintaining the integrity of traditional flavors.
6. **Food Presentation**: Plating dishes in an appealing and artistic manner, paying attention to details and aesthetics.
7. **Quality Control**: Ensuring that all dishes meet quality and taste standards consistently.
8. **Cost Control**: Managing kitchen costs by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
9. **Customer Service**: Interacting with customers to accommodate special requests, provide recommendations, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
1. **Culinary Skills**: Extensive knowledge and expertise in Lebanese cuisine, with the ability to prepare a wide range of Lebanese dishes.
2. **Experience**: Previous experience working as a Lebanese chef or in a similar role in a Lebanese restaurant or kitchen.
3. **Creativity**: The ability to innovate and create new Lebanese dishes while respecting traditional flavors.
4. **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail when it comes to food presentation and quality.
5. **Team Management**: Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee kitchen staff.
6. **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff effectively.
7. **Culinary Education**: A culinary degree or relevant certifications may be preferred but are not always required, with practical experience often being highly valued.
8. **Adaptability**: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
