Job Responsibilities

  8. Manage Equipment and Inventory

  24. Implement mentorship programs for junior technicians to build skills and improve performance.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting; prior experience in furniture manufacturing is a plus.
  3. At least 2-3 years of management experience in maintenance or operations management.
  4. Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machinery.

  5. Technical Skills:

  6. Knowledge of equipment used in furniture manufacturing (e.g., saws, drills, presses, CNC machines).

  7. Soft Skills

  8. Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.

  9. Problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  10. Effective communication skills to interact with various departments, vendors, and upper management.

  11. Knowledge of Safety Regulations

  12. Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing and industrial equipment.

  13. Experience implementing safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance.

  14. Physical Requirements

  15. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include lifting heavy equipment, exposure to noise, and standing for long periods.

  16. Must be capable of working in both office and shop floor environments.
