Our client is a multinational savory food flavoring and ingredients manufacturer from the Netherlands who sells technically based applications to the world's food manufacturing sector for more than 40 years. In Thailand, they operate both a manufacturing facility as well as a Regional Sales and R&D Center. Due to the significant growth, our client now has an opening for an experienced QA Officer.

The QA Officer will ensure product quality and regulatory compliance by managing QA systems, conducting risk assessments, handling product registrations and licenses, and responding to customer technical inquiries. This includes complaint investigations, internal audit support, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives to uphold company and regulatory standards. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with quality-related and technical inquiries.
  • Create, prepare, and submit QA reports, questionnaires, forms, and quality-related technical documents.
  • Perform and update risk assessments to support proactive quality management.
  • Support the Management of Change process by identifying, evaluating, and controlling risks to maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Prepare, finalize, and issue complaint reports to customers.
  • Manage company license renewals and ensure ongoing product compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., Thai FDA).
  • Maintain current product registrations to meet legal and customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee QA systems and procedures aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Handle product licensing processes with authorities, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company and customer needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed quality requirements across business operations.
  • Contribute to achieving company and quality goals through active teamwork.
  • Track, monitor, and prepare KPI reports for the Global QA and Shared Services teams.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure quality system compliance.
  • Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in assigned company projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality Management System within the Food Industry, preferably with Audit experience.
  • Proficient in SAP program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai.
  • Knowledge of ISO, GMP/HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER, FSSC 22000, Thai FDA and other food safety requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills and prior experience in managing teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and relationship building skills at multiple levels.
  • Pro-active, hands-on, and independent worker.
