Position: Business Development Director

Location: Bangkok

Reporting to: Chief Business Development Officer

Brief Job Description: 
A Business Development Director will work closely with the Group's Chief Business Development Officer and clinic's General Manager of GenPrime Genea Thailand to 1) Generate leads and convert them to become our customers; 2) identify new business opportunities and partnerships, as well as 3) manage and develop existing partnerships. 4) In addition, you will oversee various marketing projects, working collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting our fertility services to potential patients.

Detailed Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all commercial development efforts at the clinic, including GP and specialists and agent engagement, marketing, offline events; specifically
  • Lead marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, medical tourism strategies, and brand positioning.
  • Lead sales effort to convert leads to customers.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and referral networks with local and international agents and healthcare providers.
  • Organising educational events for GP's or patients, for Genea Doctors to present at (choosing the venue, getting invitations to GPs etc).
  • Represent the clinic at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms to enhance visibility.
  • Oversee corporate client acquisition and manage B2B relationships with insurance and wellness partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide business decisions.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure seamless patient experience and service excellence.
  • Develop and manage annual business development plans, budgets, and performance KPIs.
  • Support pricing strategy, service bundling, and promotions based on market demand and positioning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Has 3-10 years' experience in sales within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Significant, demonstrated healthcare/medical knowledge and experience in reproductive services, genetic, medical device, pharmaceuticals, science, nursing or similar.
  • Analytical ability to interpret medical information and data and discuss and present it at a healthcare professional level.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders through written, verbal, presentation, virtual and electronic communication including text and apps.
  • Strong Microsoft application capability.
  • Can work independently.
  • The ability to travel domestically up to 60% per month.
  • Has own car and current drivers' licence.
