Job summary
Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Amazon Global Selling Marketing Team spread the awareness of selling globally with Amazon through digital reach, offline events, media outreach and success story sharing. We also engage potential selling partners through social media channels and website to promote the sell on Amazon program to them. Our mission is to educate selling partners how they can become selling partners on Amazon marketplace, helps them understand the potential benefits to their business so that the selling partners can reach the world of customers through selling on Amazon.

We would like to seek a highly motivated, customer focused, creative thinking, data driven and deadline oriented professional to join our marketing team to drive the awareness of Amazon global selling through various offline and online marketing engagements, with a focus on Thai selling partners.

The marketing manager (Government & Partnerships) will work closely with our strategic partners as well as with sales, PR, legal and public policy teams to build, execute and report on a series of cooperation activities to raise awareness and generate leads for follow-ups. He/she would engage with potential selling partners through government and partnership channels. Working with the business teams, he/she would also develop and manage a regular cadence of government and strategic partnerships that will connect potential selling partners to Amazon Global Selling Thailand.

This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Key job responsibilities
- Research, identify and develop opportunities regarding government and associations/partnerships activities to drive brand awareness and entrepreneur engagement.
- Assist leadership with strategic planning for known and potential government and strategic partnership activities related to the business and industry.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with members of state and local government entities and agencies.
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans as well as responding to short-term objectives.
- Work with partners and internal stakeholders to define goals for online/offline events/cooperation activities.
- Proactively identify and work with potential partners deliver business outcomes.
- Oversee planning, logistics, third-party engagements, related arrangements, staffing and supports required for cooperation activities.
- Continuously update content creation guidelines and resources, develop communication materials for cooperation activities, review and seek approval ahead of deadlines.
- Build reports to provide visibility on cooperation results, effectiveness and conversions.
- Actively seek solutions through researching and liaise with relevant internal teams and identify trends and ideas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Vietnam SMEs ecosystem, resources and internal processes.
- Proven record of leading a deal negotiation with government
- New partnership development or business development experience a plus
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Capable of confidently using experience and data to assess and recommend the best course of action even in ambiguous situations
- Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results
- E-commerce industry knowledge and experience preferred
- Project management experience
