**Position**:Head of Commodities, Asia Pacific**

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

**Overall Role Purpose: -**
- Leading the strategic growth and development of the company’s commodities sector within the region.
- Focuses on driving revenue, market share, and profitability by identifying opportunities in the transportation and logistics of key commodities, including forestry, agriculture, and other raw materials.
- Work closely with regional teams, clients, and industry stakeholders to tailor solutions that enhance the company’s value proposition and competitive edge in the commodities market. By leveraging deep industry knowledge, market insights, and strong relationships, the role ensures the company maximizes its potential in the Asia Pacific commodities logistics sector while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sustainability in operations.
- Key objectives include driving strategic partnerships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding the company’s footprint across key markets in the region.

**Key Responsibilities: -**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commodity exporters, influencing key decision makers.
- Proactively identify business opportunities, assess customer needs and craft tailored logistics solutions.
- Lead negotiations, close deals and ensure alignment with customer business objectives.
- Must be able to take responsibility for profit and loss.
- Build and lead a commodity growth plan in region with target countries.

**Requirements Qualifications: -**
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience working in a multinational environment and in a large corporation.
- Must be able to travel internationally ca. 15-20%.
- Min. 8-10 years of experience in the OFR Forwarding industry.
- Min. 5 years of experience in OFR allocation and yield management.
- Proven experience in commodity development and Ocean Freight.
- Fluent in Thai and English communication both written and spoken.
- Good negotiator, always having the aspired goal in mind.
- Used to work in a multinational environment and in a large corporation.
- Seasoned leader with successful track record.
- Good carrier contacts.
