Executive Sous Chef

Working with a talented team of Food & Beverage professionals, The Peninsula Bangkok is seeking an Executive Sous Chef who will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, coordinating, and participating in the day-to-day preparation and production of all kitchen.
- Work for a luxurious Five-Star property located alongside the scenic Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.
- Grow within a diverse multi-outlet property.
- Favorable remuneration package
**Responsibilities**
- Produce all Food required for the assigned Kitchen.
- Control the daily ordering and requisitions to meet budgeted food cost.
- Create new Menus with detailed recipes, photographs, and cost cards.
- Submit new proposals to the Director of Food and Beverage for discussion prior to food tasting.
- Develop recipes for producing items accurately, and always update them.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years culinary leadership experience in a Five-Star hotel in this role
- Experience in Asian and/or European cuisine.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Culinary, Hospitality, Business, Marketing)
- The ability to speak English fluently, additional languages would be highly advantageous.
