Job Detail
Reporting to: General Manager
Scope of work: Manage a team of purchasers who are responsible for sourcing, procuring and negotiating Food and Non-food-related items while assisting the General Manager in the organization, forecasting, planning and executing of all the division-related matters. The key challenge of the role is to ensure that all items (food and non-food) purchased for the company are of the required quality and optimum quantity and are obtained at competitive prices, on time. In addition, you monitor and supervise the division activities to ensure a healthy environment and smooth flow of supplies at all times.
Responsibilities:

1. Assist the General Manager in his/her duties and deputize for him/her while he/she is away. Without the approval of the dept. head or management.
2. Source new suppliers and ensure their ability and capabilities to do business with our company, complying with our rules and regulations.
3. Plan and organize visits to supplier premises to ascertain their performance, quality and hygiene standards, in coordination with other divisions and to brief them on their performance.
4. Investigate supplier related problems and recommend appropriate action to be taken and follow up thereafter toavoid recurrence.
5. Prepare a plan to launch tenders inviting suppliers, locally and from overseas, evaluate the results, and thereafter submission together with General Manager to end user for final approval.
6. Coordinate daily with the various divisions to ensure that their requirements have been met and that the same is in compliance with the established Purchasing Policy.

9. Control and supervise the sections’ daily operations in order to ensure consistent productivity.
10. Regularly interact closely with all divisions to study their requirements and gather information regarding new products
11. 'Monitoring the performance of staff in different sections in order to ensure competitive, qualitative and prompt deliveries at all times.
12. Establish, review and recommend changes in the Purchasing policies and procedures.
13. 'Participate in local exhibitions in order to introduce competitive suppliers, evaluate outsourcing of innovative products thereby minimize costs and expand company purchase scope and gain reputable suppliers.15. Coaching the team of purchaser to ensure every staff is equipped with the necessary skills
16. Minimizing Out-Of-Stock (OOS) situations and establishing corrective actions for each occurrence

Salary

60,000 - 70,000 (THB)

Required work
experience
- Any gender, age between 40-50 years old.
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
- At least 8 years of experience out of which 2 years in management in procurement preferably in the food/ Catering/ Service industry.
- Experienced with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. / Excellent communication skills in English & Thai.
- Should know the contracting process and related regulations.
- Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.

- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple activities.
