**Purchasing Manager - Food and beverage ingredient**
**Location**:Bangkok
**Key highlights**:
- Direct experience in Food and beverage Manufacturing industry
- Direct experience in sourcing and purchasing for food and beverage ingredient
- The budget would be around 120 KB plus guarantee bonus
**Job Summary**:
The Purchasing Manager - Packaging is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials for the organization. This includes overseeing the purchase and negotiating with vendors. The Purchasing Manager - must ensure that the raw materials meet the company's quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategies for purchasing raw materials in line with the company's goals and objectives
- Research and identify potential suppliers of raw materials, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their raw materials needs and requirements, and develop specifications accordingly
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, and resolve any issues that arise
- Analyze purchasing data and trends, and use this information to make informed purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and maintain reports on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and inventory levels, and present this information to senior management as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the Food and beverage Manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Good command in English
