About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Product Designer to join our dynamic team at CITY ARTS LIMITED', a leading design studio based in Bangkok's bustling Bang Sue district. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in creating innovative and user-centric designs for a wide range of industrial products. Working closely with our experienced design and engineering specialists, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to final production.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop innovative product designs
  2. Produce design sketches, prototypes, and 3D models to communicate ideas effectively
  3. Participate in design reviews and presentations
  4. Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing feasibility
  5. Support the implementation of designs through production and post-launch phases
  6. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in product design, preferably in an agency or in-house design team
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent sketching, prototyping, and 3D modelling skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate design concepts effectively
  • Passion for design, problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail
  • Full working right in Thailand only
