Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, mixing, or finishing processes.
  • Prior experience in managerial or supervisory role within a chemical production facility.
  • Have prior experience of working in multi-national company
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Technical & Process Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of chemical mixing, formulation, and finishing processes.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation, including reactors, mixers, and filtration systems.
  • Familiarity with chemical properties, safety handling, and material compatibility.
  • Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

2.Quality Control & Compliance

  • Knowledge of quality control (QA/QC) procedures to ensure product consistency.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance with ISO, RoHS, REACH, or other industry standards.
  • Ability to maintain batch records, MSDS documentation, and compliance reports.

3.Leadership & Team Management

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise production staff.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop employees for operational efficiency.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle production challenges.

4.Safety & Environmental Regulations

  • Deep understanding of EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) standards in chemical manufacturing.
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials, waste disposal and safety audits.
  • Implementation of risk assessments and incident prevention measures.

5.Production Planning & Cost Management

  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules based on demand.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain management for raw material procurement.

6.Communication & Reporting

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with R&D, QA, procurement, and senior management.
  • Ability to prepare production reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans.
  • Proficiency in ERP, SAP, or production management software is a plus.

7. Perform other tasks as assigned.
