Position Overview:

The Production Support General Manager will lead and manage the Production Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics functions to ensure seamless production processes, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. This role is responsible for optimizing engineering solutions, maintaining equipment reliability, and streamlining logistics operations to support production goals. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and enhance cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering support for production operations, focusing on process optimization, automation, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational performance.
• Lead a cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement initiatives in production support areas.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Production, Quality, and Procurement, to align operations with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all production support functions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive innovation and technology adoption to improve production support functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in production support, engineering, maintenance, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
