Your Key Responsibilities
  • This position was created to strategically and operationally support and further develop the flow of materials and information from internal and external suppliers within VLS AP to optimize effectiveness, efficiency and performance of SCM ensure high delivery performance to VLS IAM, OES and Platform customers.
  • Responsible for efficient, zero defect and "on schedule" (C-Q-D) VLS AP physical flow of goods.  Improvement of DSO, reduction of backorders, inventory improvements, and kitting localization.
  • Applying the divisional Operations and SCM strategy on AAM AP Logistic.  
  • Operations and productivity
    • VLS AP CLC (directly)
    • VLS AP distribution center (directly / indirectly)
    • VLS AP Logistic budget responsibility OH-areas / cost control
  •  Supply Chain Management VLS AP
    • Working Capital (alignment with divisional SCM)
    • Sales Supply Chain and Order Processing
    • Demand planning (alignment with divisional SCM)
    • Materials management / replenishment (alignment with divisional SCM)
    • Demand Capacity adjustments (internal  & external supplier)
  • Production planning of AAM AP Kitting Operations
  • Drive sustainablity activities in the Logistics / warehousing areas
  • Lean Culture (alignment with Strategic Logistics)
    • MOVE
    • CIP, Process optimization
  • Management of external logistic providers in Asia Pacific in close coordination with local and global provider management and AP. 
  • Central VLS contact point for the global and regional BU SCM departments. 
  • Close coordination and interaction with Schaeffer Country Units, Regional HQs and VLS HQ management. 
  • HR development of related employees
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Management or Engineering. 
  • 5-10 years of experience in international logistic operations. 
  • 5-10 years in Leadership role
  • English, fluently spoken and written. 
  • SAP
