Position Overview:

The Country Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within the country, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), supply planning, demand planning, logistics, and warehouse management. This role ensures the efficient flow of goods and information from suppliers to customers, while optimizing cost to serve and high service levels. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):

2. Lead the S&OP process to align demand and supply plans across the organization.

3. Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review demand forecasts, supply plans, inventory levels, and financial impacts.
4. Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to achieve business goals.

5. Identify gaps and risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

6. Demand Planning:

7. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.

8. Monitor forecast accuracy and implement improvements to reduce forecast errors.

9. Collaborate with sales and marketing to incorporate promotions, new product launches, and market changes into the demand plan.

10. Supply Planning:

11. Create and execute supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.

12. Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
13. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.

14. Ensure supply plans align with capacity constraints and production schedules.

15. Logistics and Management:

16. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, customs clearance, and distribution.

17. Negotiate contracts with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.

18. Monitor logistics performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, transportation costs) and implement improvements.

19. Warehouse Management:

20. Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

21. Implement best practices for warehouse layout, inventory management, and safety.
22. Optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

23. Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.

24. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:

25. Track and report key supply chain performance metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, cost to serve).

26. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
27. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related field.
• 7-10 years proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain operations in a country or regional role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• FMCG experience is required, having worked in dynamic environments where there is pace and growth.
• Resilience, result oriented with drive to deliver, agile, leadership with experience on people management.
• Diverse background of supply chain; experience in different SC functions such as logistics, warehousing, customer service etc.
