Responsibilities

1) Project Management

  • Lead and managed engineering projects for the development of buses and trucks business.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

2) Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, mechanical, electrical and design specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

3) Product Development

  • Drive the development of new buses and trucks models, considering performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure aesthetic and functional aspects align with market demands.

4) Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in areas such as chassis design, powertrain systems, and vehicle dynamics.
  • Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.

5) Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to buses and trucks.
  • Ensure that engineering projects comply with relevant safety and environmental requirements.

6) Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing, quality control and procurement to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product features with customer needs.

7) Cost Management

  • Develop and manage engineering budgets for bus and truck projects.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

8) Testing and Validation

  • Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure the reliability and safety of vehicles.
  • Analyze test data and implement improvements based on findings.

9) Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or related filed)


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry and 2 years in a managerial role.


• Proven experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Sales Leadership, team management, problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication, good interpersonal and negotiation skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.


• Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.


• Familiarity with MS Office or similar tools.


• Good command of the English and Chinese.
