Sales Support Supervisor – Freight Forwarding

  1. Lead, coach, and motivate the Sales Support team to achieve departmental goals and maintain strong coordination with the Sales team.
  2. Supervise the preparation and submission of accurate and timely quotations (RFQs) and proposals to customers.
  3. Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups to ensure excellent service quality and customer satisfaction.
  4. Monitor and track shipment status, documentation, billing, and claims in coordination with customers and overseas partners.
  5. Coordinate sales activities and requirements between customers, Sales, and internal departments such as Operations, Customs, and Accounting.
  6. Collaborate with the Customer Service and Operations teams to resolve issues that may affect service delivery or customer satisfaction.
  7. Provide operational guidance, SOP, ensure efficient workflow, and maintain service consistency across the Sales Support team.
  8. Prepare, review, and submit regular sales activity reports, KPI summaries, and insights for management review and decision-making.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience, cost-efficiency, and team productivity.
  10. Support and cooperate fully with the Sales team in driving and closing deals, ensuring alignment and smooth handover without internal conflicts or delays.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, Customs clearance or logistics, preferably in a Sales Support or Customer Service supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing quotations, tracking shipments, and coordinating with customers and internal departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, monitor KPIs, and provide improvement insights.
  • Supportive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude toward assisting the Sales team in achieving business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalated or complex customer issues effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).
