Procurement & Pricing Supervisor (Freight Forwarding)

- Supervise and coordinate daily procurement and pricing activities related to freight forwarding operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely execution.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and overseas agents, liners, and transportation providers to secure competitive rates in line with company policy.
- Prepare and provide accurate, timely freight quotations for tenders (RFQs) and ad-hoc requests to support sales and operational needs.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with carriers, co-loaders, agents, and logistics partners to ensure reliable service and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, carrier performance, and competitor activities, providing regular updates and insights to management and related teams.
- Ensure all negotiated rates, contracts, and supplier information are correctly updated and maintained in the company's system.
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day procurement and shipment coordination matters, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, pricing, or operations within freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of air, sea, and cross-border transportation and freight market dynamics
- Good negotiation, analytical, and cost evaluation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills with both local and overseas partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Good command of English (Written)
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
