We are seeking a Senior Accountant to become part of our Finance team at Bata Thailand's Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable and support Chief Accountant for the monthly financial reports as well as efficiency improvement for Finance Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • New vendor set up in the system.
  • Validate invoices for accuracy, completeness and appropriate authorization.
  • Record invoices into the accounting system, Ensure proper allocation to the correct departments or cost centers.
  • Review rental expenses and record the lease agreement and activity in the system.
  • Settle vendor payment in according with the account payable policy.
  • Review and record accrued expenses/prepaid expense amortization with supporting documents on time.
  • Support preparing financial statements, including month-end closing and year-end closing statements.
  • Support internal and external auditing processes.
  • Prepare corporate Income tax calculations.
  • Prepare account payable confirmation for mid-year and end of year.
  • Any other ad hoc assignments as necessary

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Tax regulations.
  • Working experience in Audit is a plus.
  • Microsoft office efficiency, fluent in excel.
  • Fair English communications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment, teamwork mindset.
