Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design process from research and conceptual design,
    to production-ready design.
  • Build and continuously improve design processes that balance speed, quality,
    and user impact.
  • Ensure the platform's design evolves to support growth and the expanding
    product vision.
  • Serve as a design advocate and partner with product managers and engineering
    leadership to influence product direction and ensure that the products we build
    are user-centered and of the highest quality.
  • Mentor and coach designers, raising the overall quality of design across the
    team and organization.
  • Work as part of a product trio (UX designer, engineer, product manager) to drive
    the outcome of the product strategy, and initiatives.
  • Bring a strong user-centered mindset to the team and the product we ship.

Skills and experience

  • Have proven track record in conducting and discovering insights to use to
    inform a solution
  • Have proven track record in designing and shipping a complex digital
    product.
  • Proficiency in Figma in creating low, high fidelity design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and interaction design, demonstrating
    ability to solve complex user and system problems.
  • Ability to influence and drive collaboration between product, design, and
    engineering teams.
  • Understand, believe, and practice user-centered design
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and elevate the work of other
    designers.
  • Experience leading cross-team design initiatives or defining design
    standards that scale across products.

  • Experience evolving platform systems, simplifying complex workflows across multiple touchpoints.
  • Experience in building or evolving design systems that support scalability and
    consistency.
  • Experience with identifying and solving complex and ambiguous design problems
    for an operational heavy product.
  • A team player mentality who value working collaboratively.
  • Have ownership in your work.
