Position Overview
The Commercial Marketing Department Manager is responsible for leading the commercial marketing division to drive business growth, strengthen brand presence, and enhance customer engagement. This role manages 4 main teams: Commercial Planning, E-commerce, Creative & Production, and Branding & Engagement. The position requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives across both online and offline channels.
What you'll drive:
Strategic & Leadership
- Define and execute the commercial marketing strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Manage and oversee four main teams, providing direction, leadership, and performance management.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to deliver integrated go-to-market execution.
- Manage departmental budget and optimize resource allocation for maximum ROI.
- Monitor results, analyze market dynamics, and provide insights to senior management.
Functional Oversight
1. Commercial Planning (Go-to-Market)
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly go-to-market plans for both online and offline sales.
- Coordinate promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and campaign rollouts to support sales growth.
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and relevance.
- Evaluate campaign performance and adapt strategies to achieve commercial objectives.
2. E-commerce
- Drive online growth through digital acquisition, performance marketing, and marketplace optimization.
- Oversee strategies to improve customer conversion, retention, and overall digital sales performance.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance user experience and checkout processes.
- Monitor and optimize performance marketing metrics to maximize ROI.
3. Creative & Production
- Lead the development of creative assets across digital, social, and offline media channels.
- Ensure creative outputs align with brand identity and support both commercial and branding campaigns.
- Manage production timelines and ensure consistency in quality across all deliverables.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful creative solutions that enhance marketing effectiveness.
4. Branding & Engagement
- Define and execute brand strategy for both Ondemand and its key educators.
- Build and strengthen customer engagement across social and digital platforms.
- Develop initiatives to increase brand equity, customer loyalty, and positive sentiment.
- Oversee social media planning, execution, and performance reporting.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven expertise in commercial marketing, go-to-market planning, and e-commerce growth.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing multi-functional teams.
- Analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.
- Background in education, edtech, or consumer-focused industries is an advantage.
