As the Head of Medical you will lead all medical affairs in Galderma Thailand, overseeing Therapeutic Dermatology (TD), Injectable Aesthetics (IA), and Dermatological Skincare (DS) business units. You will craft and execute a pioneering strategy, ensuring unparalleled quality and credibility in our products and services, thereby elevating our scientific reputation throughout Thailand.
Key Responsibilities- Lead medical oversight in local operational meetings and brand plans, with a special focus on injectable aesthetics.- Identify data gaps and lead data dissemination plans.- Drive medical affairs activities for launch planning.- Oversee medical information services, promotional material review, and ensure healthcare professional (HCP) compliance for events and symposiums.- Develop a comprehensive medical education plan for HCPs and pharmacists.- Ensure operational efficiency within scope.- Develop and implement competitive medical affairs plans and strategies for each business unit.- Lead in identifying data gaps and generating necessary data, including support for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) processes.- Ensure proper training and engagement plans for Medical Affairs and company employees.- Lead Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocacy, development, and management.- Conduct interviews, hire, and train employees. Plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, and address complaints.- Foster a professional, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
Skills & Qualifications- PhD qualified, with a Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Scientific Degree.- 8-10 years of medical experience in pharmaceutical industry medical affairs, including budget and resource management.- Demonstrated leadership and team motivation skills.- Proven ability to work across departments and business units.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data for scientific rigor.- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its various departments.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively.
