**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with multiple teams such as product team, actuary team, underwriting team, analytics and digital & technology team to provide expert medical underwriting and medical Claims knowledge, to develop advance and innovative medical underwriting approach, guideline, and procedure with the one goal in mind to make medical underwriting become seamless and awesome customer experience for all customer segments: mass, mass affluent, HNW and all distribution channels: Banca, Digital, DM and Agency
- Supporting CCO in driving company purpose: Help Thai People get the most out of life by making Thai people healthier and wealthier
- Partnering with squad solution owners to identify solutions and resolutions to medical underwriting and medical claims problems/issues resulting in quality results and client satisfaction
- Partnering with reinsurers to identify unique, creative ways to solve medical underwriting problems and improve business results
- Provide medical expert view to support medical underwriters when underwrite complex risks and ensures underwriting quotes are sound, competitive and profitable to PLT
- Ensure high quality assurance standard of the Technical Underwriting and Claims COE
- Work closely with Head of Underwriting and Head of Claims to ensure a ‘one team’ approach
- Be the key member of Underwriting and Claims committee
- Participates in special projects, committees, hothouse/hackathon
- Assists in developing/guiding tele-underwriting
- Ensure updating of internal underwriting guidelines/procedures, take lead for audit reviews
- Keeps abreast of industry products, current developments and changes in medical and financial underwriting and maintains/updates professional development through study of literature and participation in seminars
- Manage, coach, monitor & mentor staff, including the development of staff to progressive levels where appropriate
- Performs management duties including, but not limited to, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining direct reports
