Our client is one of the leading food ingredient companies in the world. They are now looking for an energetic person to join them in the Assistant Trade Manager (Food Industry) Position.
- Collaborating with supply chain management and trade execution to ensure efficient execution and resolve routine problems.
- Working with internal and external customers and suppliers daily to manage lowest impact accounts within a specific local market segment as defined by the Business Leader.
- Handling moderately complex administrative, technical, or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more difficult issues to appropriate staff.
- Assisting Merchant II in completing daily/weekly/monthly Merchandising profitability. Reports findings to Merchandising Manager and/or Sr. Merchants.
- Using spreadsheets and/or systems/databases to accumulate and organize data.
- Ensuring compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
- Handling other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university, preferably in Finance, economics, or marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Trade Marketing to the food ingredients/ food industry.
- Analytical and able to translate macro insights into executable commercial strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good in English communication, both writing and speaking.
- Highly resilient and able to manage and convince challenging customers.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
