Our client is an international freight forwarding company with a worldwide network, offering complete logistic solutions including trucking (general cargo and heavy lifts) air and sea freight, customs clearance (including consultation services), and warehousing, for import and export shipments.
**Responsibilities**
- Exploring the opportunity to develop additional business from the assigned customer account.
- Proactively finding a new possible customer and acquiring new business.
- Proactively creating and submitting the sales lead to overseas offices as well as following up on the progress.
- Conducting regular customer visits and extending excellent presentations on LS's overall business.
- Preparing, reviewing, and signing quotations.
- Organizing and delegating the support work to the sales assistant.
- Conducting internal rollout meetings for the handover of newly acquired customers to the operation team.
- Handling the overall customer satisfaction of newly acquired customers.
- Attending weekly & monthly sales review meetings to achieve set sales personnel targets.
- Handling and preparing rate/tender inquiries and special projects for overseas offices/agents.
- Maintaining excellent relations with potential K/A customers to obtain the chance to enter future bidding.
- Implementing and executing the work accordingly to ISO work procedure.
- Preparing and submitting quotations/tenders.
- Implementing the trade lane development under respective counterparts.
- Managing and sharing sales leads and follow-up results.
- Conducting overseas sales calls when required.
- Reviewing and approving quotations/tender submissions.
- Regularly updating and providing monthly GP report by date 5 of each month.
- Updating regular monthly pipeline report (sale review) as per agreed timeframe.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or equal.
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in Logistics.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Key Account Management or Sales.
- Excellent command of English spoken and written.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Excellent customer service mind.
- Ability to think “outside the box”.
- Mandarin capability would be an added benefit
